He handed in his notice, ready to embark on a new chapter as a notary loan signing agent, following a dream to become an entrepreneur.

He knew he had to take control of his future, stating, “I was seeking something better, something where I knew I needed to be an entrepreneur. I just didn't know what direction to take."

Becoming a notary signing agent in March 2022, Joseph faced skepticism and doubt, yet he turned that doubt into fuel.

​“If I have somebody in my ear saying, ‘Oh man, I don't think you can do that. I'm going to sit back and say, ‘watch this.”

His income journey tells a story of consistent growth, from $1,700 in his first month to reaching highs of $5,500 by September, showcasing his determination to succeed.

His first year in the field saw him earning an impressive $70,000, and he is on track to surpass that, projecting $82,000 for 2023.

More than just financial gains, Joseph found a renewed sense of life, stating, “We don't just survive anymore. I can actually live now. And those are two different things.”

Life Beyond the Job Site: A Father’s Freedom

The shift to a notary signing agent has afforded Joseph not just financial stability, but the priceless ability to be present for his family.

​As a father of three, he now enjoys the flexibility to attend his daughters’ cheerleading competitions without asking anyone for permission, a freedom he never experienced as an electrician.
